The King's Mark, enamelled silver or gold, with the Danish flag motif and Christian X's monogram, the dates 1870-1940 and 1870-1945 respectively below. The King's Mark was produced in 1940-47 by Georg Jensen Sølvsmedie from a design by Arno Malinowski in 1,178,534 copies. Proceeds of over DKK 1.5 million were donated to the Christian X Foundation, which supports cultural causes and the fight against disease. The mark was worn as a national manifestation by both men and women in jackets, on coats and the like.
